Everyone expected the day to be filled with laughter, incredible food, great people, and good music. That's what you go to a wedding for. No one expected the weather to play a factor in the day. Unfortunately Courtney and Thomas were unable to use the beach as the location for their cocktail hour and BBQ as planned. However we managed to take some amazing photos, despite the sand and wind whipping us in the face. I actually liked the effect the wind gave to Courtney's dress. The wind presented life and motion in the dress that made it easier to photograph. It also made the couple laugh every time it covered the bride's face. This helped to produce genuine smiles that I know they will appreciate when they look at their wedding album years to come. So I owe a big thank you to the wind for helping me show my bride and groom's playful side.

Clara and Issac's Engagement Session
During the winter months in the Northeast we all wish that we can take a trip to the south and visit some of the warmer states. Despite the freezing temperatures, Clara and Issac, both raised in New York City, knew that the perfect place to do their engagement pictures had to be where they grew up. So they braved the cold, left sunny Florida and invited me for a lovely afternoon full of laughter and love. They showed me that regardless of the weather if you are with the right person you will always stay warm.
